Hey y'all! As some of you know I have been teaching a 3rd grade class at a local title 1 school at least 2 days a week. Recently I have been challenging them to read at home with mixed results. I told them to privately let me know if they didn't have books at home. 8 kids came to tell me they didn't. If anyone has kids books they could donate that would be great! Everything from beginner to 4th grade would be awesome! Please simply look for books around your house or used books, but I will also include an Amazon wishlist below.

What is a title 1 school?

Anyway my kids are looonnng past that age but I can buy a few books from Amazon. If this tech challenged old can figure how to ship to you. PM your name and address and I'll let you know if I figure the app out

Schools in Texas are labeled as title 1 when at least 40% of their students live in economically disadvantaged homes.

Oh man, I have a ton of books i need to purge. What cardinal directionish are you in Austin? I might be able to drop off a bunch. I have a 3rd grader who just grinds through Big Nate and Diary of a Wimpy kid books.
