Looks like you're right. Damn didn't even realize. I guess I incorrectly assumed that it would need to be more connected to be considered part of the metro area.

Montgomery wasn't part of Houston sprawl in the 90s, now it is part of the sprawl. if growth continues like it has bastrop will be part of Austin by 2050
