Well, I guess its over. Looks like Bob and Eric left KOKE this past weekend after an announcement of no more FM as of 6/1.. Transitioned to streaming only. The old FM is now spanish radio.

I know morning shows are old school, but I sure did get used to listening to them and Jimmy Carter every morning on my way to work.

Yep. I've been streaming that morning show at the office and at home post Covid for years.

Too bad.

I came across this a few days ago. Thought it was another station bleeding in. But now this thread confirms that they are gone now.

I am running out of stations worthy of using a preset button for!

KOKE FM posted that their tower frequencies were purchased, but I haven't seen anything from Bob or Eric

KOKE went to online after the sale of the FM Stations. Same with the Horn. It looks like the HORN is now just the morning show played around the clock.

Has to download the Audacy app to listen this morning

Not the same as just hoping in the truck and having it on

Same banter with some more songs added in.

They said Jimmy Carter back on later this week, or latest next week.

I don't understand HD radio, but my '16 Ford has it

If you go to 95.5, then scroll up 1-2 more to HD3….then it comes thru loud and clear in GT

Shows up in the screen as 95.5-3 and says 95.9 Texas Country underneath.

I get it in RR too. But it is obviously on the edge of its range. Noticeable static.

95.9 is loud and clear in south Austin. Bob and Eric are doing their morning show these days on here... it's almost as if nothing has ever happened (just station number changed).

Do they still have Jimmy Carter on? He used to come on at 745 during my 745-755 commute. That 10-15 minutes seems to be filled with commercials now.
