I went to Austin Saturday. Decided to eat at the Pluckers at 6406 North IH-35. When I drive up it occurs to me that this spot used to have an Italian food restaurant but I couldn't remember the name. The Pluckers building is new so I am guessing the previous place burned. Does anyone remember what the name of the Italian food place was?

I remember an upper end national chain like Carrabas or Johnny Carinos.

It was a Carrabas in 2008+. If you use Google Streetview you can slide back in time.

In 2012+ it became Verona something, 2017+ Pluckers.

Thank you. I had no idea you could use Streetview to go back in time. Thanks for that also.

It was originally a Carrabas and then another Italian restaurant. The building was torn down in that shopping center, and the Pluckers was built in its place.

Evan Aggie is dead on... at least on progression. Dont remember the years. When Pluckers first opened, the wood floor was slicker than goose ****.
