Our box went out. After 30 minutes on hold and 20 minutes of rediculous support, the box is still out.

Good news. We get a visit from a technician in 4 and a half days. If box is out, I am informed, he may have one in the truck.

Best way to prevent having to deal with Suddenlink's stellar customer service is to use your own equipment.

Good luck! They've got us by the shorthairs. You could try Starlink. I think it just became available here.

A new firm is beginning construction of a fiber optic network that will allow multiple providers. We're at least a year away though.

How many boxes do you have? You can do the factory reset yourself. It usually works and it will save you the $50 they'll charge for sending the tech out.

One box.

We did the reset before calling (holding). The agent reset it twice. Still same problem. Then it started working around midnight.

We received a call around noon telling that it was an internet problem on their end and it should be working now.

I will check on Starlink.
