In Austin for a few days staying at the on campus hotel.

Any food, bar recs if I want to watch some nba playoff games close or close enough for a short Uber?

You can walk to Scholz's.

Short uber or long walk to Kung Fu, Lavaca St, Cedar Door, Little Woodrows. Any would be good, I used to frequent Lavaca St. the most, but Scholz's is a cool place as well.

Scholz's is a neat place. Could also look at Crown and Anchor Pub or Shoal Creek.
