Any recommendation on a company in Austin to help set up home wifi monitoring and restrictions? I am looking to set up wifi restrictions/monitoring of my kids usages.

Check out Bark. it is an in-home monitoring device as well as an app to add to all devices for monitoring. It sends weekly reports and based on your sensitivity settings around multiple themes or topics will alert you daily as well. You can change the settings for each device, create a profile per kid, and even set daily time limits, turn access on or off for profiles and/or devices

Does that only work in your home, or outside your home as well?

In other words, I see what it does with your home network, but if they are at a friends house, is the content on their phones filtered?

Circle is able to manage Android, Amazon Fire Tablets, Chromebooks, and iOS devices away from home. Circle does not support managing laptops, or gaming consoles away from home. Read more about system requirements for the Circle Parental Controls app.


Since they have iPhones, I use the iOS Parental Controls for outside the home. It's rare they have their laptops away from home (other than school), so for us this is the best solution.

What router are you currently using? many of them have these features included, and you do not need to pay someone else

I had circle for a year and then found all of the features I was using were included in my Linksys mesh router.

Yes, it is app controlled. I think most of the higher end router systems have these controls integrated.

Almost all *new* systems use an app for this purpose. you set it up by registered device (mac address)
