Does anyone have knowledge in changing zoning for a property or know a lawyer who could help? I am looking at a lot in 78758 that is currently zoned for mobile homes only.

Those two are the best, but will cost you a literal fortune.

Try Thrower Design. Probably a tenth of the cost.

Which Zoning is that? Most SF-2 or SF-3 allow for more than one building type.. no?

Run for city council. If you look closely, they all own real estate.

I had the same thought but Mobile Home (MH) is its own zoning and there are not a lot of permitted uses under that category.

Thanks for the responses.

I spoke with some people and I don't think the investment is worth it. It's zoned MH and with what's around it wouldn't be easy to flip

They can help with zoning? Actually need to find someone for my mom and aunt. They are wanting to sell but were rezoned without their knowledge and it's turned into a big roadblock.

I have used a Civil Engineer in that past - LOC Consultants, Civil Division. Ask for Sergio Lozano, PE. He has a lot of experience in working with the City of Austin for these type of services. Good luck!

Get 5 or 6 homeless folks to locate on the property. Then have them ask the city for what you want. Ausin city council only really gives a **** about what the homeless think! Tax payers are of no importance to them.

lol - yeah right!

ETA: taxes are quite important to them if you have been following along. We sold a few years back (Bouldin Creek) and moved to nearby Bastrop TX. We love it! But everyone works in Austin.

I agree about taxes. They are important to them and all their ludicrous spending habits. Taxpayers, as I stated, they could care less about!!!
