Does anyone have a good recommendation for a tree trimming and removal service? We received a quote of over 3K to remove one very large dead red oak and trim up two live oaks that don't need much trimming. I usually do my own but the canopy is now out of reach. That included grinding the stump.

2K for the big tree didn't sound terrible but $400 each for the live oaks set me off.

I used Sid Mourning and was very pleased l. $1,400 to trim all my trees and cut down a Red Oak. StumpOut Grinding removed the stump for $90

We used Silver Tree Service to remove two palm trees and trim neighbors overhanging hackberry limbs several months ago. They did a really good job cleaning up and worked their asses off removing one of the palm tree stumps.

Thanks for those. I'm trying to remember the name of an Aggie I used a few years ago that was maybe in Leander or Round Rock. He was reasonable and responsive.
