Buddy is coming to town and his wife wants to get him a Tres Leches cake. Where do y'all recommend?

Are you talking going to a restaurant to get it or buying one somewhere and taking it home? If you're talking going to a restaurant, the tres leches at Fonda San Miguel is amazing. If you're wanting to go buy it somewhere, my FIL (who's Hispanic), swears that the tres leches from El Rancho Supermercado is the best he's ever had.

I had a bday dinner at La Mancha a few years back and they had a baker work one up for us. This was before covid so I'm not sure if they still have the same staff.

I actually think Chuy's has a good Tres Leches.

Just go for the jalapeno ranch and cake. haha.

Sweet Cakes 4 U in Buda. They are amazing and worth the drive.

Habana on SoCo is my 2nd favorite.

HEB actually makes pretty good tres leches cake.

Wife gets ours at Whole Foods and they are pretty good
