Hi TA,
My daughter is VERY into Koalas, not sure how or why. Do you know of any in the Hill Country or a day trip from Austin? Her birthday is coming up and seeing some in person would make her World!

Very, very few zoos in the US have koalas, and hardly any in Texas. I think the Dallas zoo has them.

Yeah it is only the Dallas Zoo that has Koalas. I do recommend the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, it is pretty nice and you can also go to the Dr. Pepper museum too.
