Basil Jackson was an Aggie linebacker in the mid- to late-80s. He and I both work for the same high-tech company in Austin. I recently found out that Basil and his wife have opened a dessert shop called Pie Bar. Some relatives and I checked it out July 4th weekend, buying 5 of the 4" mini pies, and sharing them. Good stuff. Pie Bar is near the end of South Congress, just north of Slaughter, across the street from the new HEB. Check it out!
