On behalf of our gracious city council, I will be starting a petition to demonstrate support of all public government buildings to be used to house the homeless. Particularly during COVID, I believe there is great opportunity in leveraging city hall offices, garages, and other like structure to be used as shelter. I can't imagine these facilities are being used at capacity during remote work and they are public land that is already funded.

Can I count on your support? What other public land could be used?

"Public land" = parks and rights of way? Great. That will be so much better.

I think we should help them decide the public land that can be used. Parks and right of ways shouldn't be considered but city hall, elected officials offices, and other public servant owned pieces of property could easily be converted to house the homeless during the night-time hours.

It's already paid for and is going unused at the hours of need.

Which one is Adlers main office in? Would be a great emergency restroom.

It was just announced that the idiot Steve Adler spent $10,000 of his own money in the failed attempt to prevent the reinstatement of the camping ban.

Any of y'all think Escott/Adler/Brown will follow CDC guidance tomorrow?

The city council and our leadership are clearly throwing a fit about the result of prop B with this proposal.

Campsites on State ROW are so much cheaper. The audacity of these people is unreal. How many of these campers moved to Austin when camping became legal?
