This is interesting. Think your vote doesn't count. There are 84,976 people in Round Rock. 54,467 are over 18 years old. 6,869 ballots were cast. Less than 12.6% of the population voted. I just find that unusual after record turn out in November. Local elections matter. It sets the direction for you community.

Congratulations to Matt Baker and Kristen Stevens!! Do good for Round Rock!!

Bastrop had an election decided by 4 votes. 616 to 612. Crazy.

Marc has been talking about it on his FB page. But the last vote is actually a provisional vote and I didn't realize that - if the voter doesn't bring their ID to the county by Friday it can't be counted. I have heard a rumor that there was a mail-in vote that came in as well, so the provisional voter may tie it (but that's just hearsay and not confirmed yet).
