I recently relocatated to Austin and I'd like to get in touch with a financial planner that can go over some things with me... retirement planning, saving for college, etc. I need someone trustworthy that will help me grow my assets, not someone that just wants to sell me some products. Does anyone have a person that they can recommend?

I can recommend a guy if none of the above fit your needs, but he's not local. He travels to Austin several times a year though.

Try Jason Dickerson with Edward Jones in north austin, really nice guy and will give you good advice
