where's a good one? we're actually in buda but have been going to san marcos for a few weeks. recommendations?

Southwest Church of Christ is just like University church of Christ in San Marcos, stuck in the year 1975.

You can either be like a lighthouse, standing firm and shining your light for all to see 24/7, or you can be a refrigerator; The light is only on when the doors are open.

University in San Marcos and Southwest in Austin fall into the latter category.

Have you gone to SW? Seems strange that a deacon in the Lord's Church would rail on a part of the Body as you have. It would be sad if you were saying what you did based of hear say or something similar. I hope we aren't stuck in 1975. I hope we are stuck in around 70 A.D. Being a light to the world is each of our responsibilities....I'm sure we could all do a better job of it.

Farmer....I have been trading emails with ABATT today. Come to find out he doesn't even attend the church of Christ anymore. He seems to be upset with their teachings. They have a preacher training school (I think). Joseph Meador (sp) is a great speaker, I don't know if he is the pulpit minister or not. My wife has visited when traveling and they were friendly enough.
