From the north side of campus, im looking for a good jogging route without being the only person running or too much traffic.
quote:
Another longer run is out to the nuke plant and back. 8 miles round trip, very little traffic on the road out there.

yeah, there's several apps that have this stuff on them (for a fee) but wanted to see if there's anything not on them (alltrails, komoot, etc).

I see people running on the trail that runs behind what used to be Ozona on Harvey.

I bike on the Lick Creek Greenway, because it's near my house, but that's nowhere near campus.

Yeah I might do that if/when I want more miles. Going around in circles is not fun. Is there many people on there daily?

Lick Creek Greenway is great.
If you're looking for something close to campus try this:
Wolf Penn Creek Park -> (Via Central Park Ln) -> Central Park -> (Krenek Tap) -> Bee Creek Park -> Anderson Park-> (George Bush) ->Wolf peen Creek
Its ~6 miles, you string the parks together to get a loop with good shade, restrooms and water fountains. You can add Thomas park to it while on the George Bush.
