Anyone work for Universal Computer Systems? Are they a good company? What's the pay? I applied for a technical position, and they called me today, but I missed it because I was at "work". Any info would be helpful.

If reading that thread doesn't convince you, I would be happy to buy you a beer and tell you more stories. I consider it a public service to inform the uninformed about that place.

It's a decent place to get some experience for future resumes, etc. For some people, it turns into a nice career- but you have to be willing to tow the company line for a long while (and that is usually too much to ask for a lot of people- especially if they have a shot at better opportunities).

I got up and walked out in the middle of the "aptitude" test. The person in there tried to tell me "you can't leave until you have finished the test." She was about 5 feet tall and 100 lbs. I'm 6 feet and over 200. I told her "then try to stop me." I told her I was leaving because the questions on the test were none of their damn business.

I'm guessing I don't fit their model of a good employee!
