Yeah, just never got mine in the mail.
I was on Poplar yesterday after picking up some Fuego.
The next to the last house on the right has done some upgrades. Looks nice.
An SUV with a county appraisal door sign was parked across their driveway entrance. Already there looking to up that appraisal value.

We haven't gotten ours in the mail either, but they are on brazostax.org

Tax payments are Due Jan 31 without penalty
Side note: Can anyone explain to me why we make payment out to the name of the tax collector? I always find it weird making a payment straight to the employee's name, rather than the county itself.
If you pay in 2 installments, first payment is due November 30 and 2nd payment end of June.
get mine today went down 7 bucks, down about 3,000 over the last several years

Do not quote me on this but he/she are responsible for every dime collected or not collected
They are held responsible for the collection
I would not want that job because I would not sleep at night knowing when tax payments were coming in

I received mine today. I must admit I haven't investigated thoroughly. Is this different from what we received last Spring? And how can we check if exemptions have been applied (homestead, over 65)?
Somewhere on there it say HS 65. Mine did this year but I just turned and I still have to go do the filing myself
The landlords know your birthday and put it on the tax statement but you still have to go and fill out the actual paperwork for it to ne applied

Got mine, but for some reason my homestead exemption isn't on there this year. Anyone know how I fix this?

I think you make one to the tax assessor collector so you don't have to make multiple payments to multiple entities. The tax collector consolidates then distributes the taxes.
I got the one for the house I don't reside in (it's a long story, eventually it'll be for sale) but not for the one we do reside in yet

Just got my statements. My tax payment went up 14.4% year over year. Property taxes are just crushing.
