Wanted to share this for anyone in the Bryan/College Station area looking for something fun to do around the holidays. The 4th Annual Great Gingerbread Gathering is coming up at the Brazos Center!

Our family has been to every one of these. Not only have we loved it every year, it has gotten better each year. It's a fun holiday tradition that supports The BEE Community, a local nonprofit providing meaningful work and a place to belong for adults with disabilities.

There are two options:

• Business + Family Dinner Tuesday, December 1, 5:308 p.m. Bring the kids, grandparents, friends, or coworkers. Each ticket includes a gingerbread house to decorate, candy and icing, and a casual meal.
• Ladies Luncheon Wednesday, December 2, 11 a.m.1:30 p.m. Get a group together for lunch and gingerbread decorating. Each ticket includes a house, decorating supplies, a keepsake apron, and a boxed lunch.

Both events are at The Brazos Center, 3232 Briarcrest Drive in Bryan. Individual tickets and tables are available. You'll need to buy ahead of time since tickets won't be sold at the door. If you are passionate about special needs or you just love events with holiday spirit, this is a great candidate for you.

I can highly recommend the family dinner. It is great event especially for the kids and includes pictures with Santa, decorating contests, and you will never run out of candy when decorating.
