How long do you want to ignore this user?

"The two incumbents have voted alongside administration every single vote for three years" - how would you know this without being in executive sessions?

"including paying the superintendent over $400k in total comp" - False

"building a new $31M admin building" - True

"and making a new rule (recommended by the superintendent of course) that school board members can't even go on any campus without the superintendent by their side." - False

Exec Session discussions are behind closed doors, but all votes are in open session

I do have receipts

First:
Every vote is public, even from items discussed in closed session.

Second: here is Harkriders contract
https://resources.finalsite.net/images/v1788185283/csisdorg/gdxkbghx7h5zvjxdfcdz/TH_Supt_Contract_26-27.pdf

His total compensation comes out to over $400,000 that includes additional payment into retirement that no one else in district gets, paying fully for health insurance and a car and phone allowance

And the 3rd "false": go to page 8 of this document

https://resources.finalsite.net/images/v1771437468/csisdorg/kn93xq0lruoemorpsvqy/FINAL_CSISD_BOP1.pdf

Quote:

BOARD MEMBER VISIT TO SCHOOL CAMPUS ACTIVITY
1.Board members are encouraged to attend special events on
campuses.
2.Board members shall not go into teacher's classrooms or campuses for
the purpose of evaluation or investigation.
3. Board members must notify the superintendent of visits to campuses
when they are not attending a scheduled activity. The superintendent
shall schedule the visit with the campus and attend the visit with the
board member.

Let me know if you like more information. I prefer to work with facts and objectivity.

Here's a breakdown of all compensation from contract.

And if you want to know when those changes to salary occurred and when they adopted the "board members can't visit campuses without the superintendent being present" this will point you in the right direction. I'll leave it to you to go watch the school board recorded sessions if you don't believe it

Summer 2025 contract extension added health insurance for entire family and car allowance (a value of about $30k)

Summer 2026 contract extension added $9k to base salary

New board operating procedures adopted February 2026 meeting

All videos and votes are online that you can hunt down. Hopefully a truthful and honest debate can occur rather than just posting "false" without backing up why it is false.

Right on! I hope you find a candidate that you feel good about! I just wanted to voice support for someone I believe in.

Have a great evening!

Voted at Galilea Baptist Church in Bryan. There was nobody voting there when I walked in.

Remember, just because you live in College Station (and vice versa) doesn't mean you have to vote there. If you're a Bryan resident and work on campus, you can vote at the MSC, for example.

(I realize most of y'all know this, just making sure to catch the one person who doesn't)

Hard pass there

I don't know where the line is drawn on this thread between F16 and this forum but I've always had an affinity for Roy May (no homo) and didn't even know he was running for anything and am heading out to vote this morning.

Now I just have to remember where I voted last go around where I was one of four people in the building for an easy in and out in under five minutes.

ETA: I just remembered. It was downtown Bryan. I just happened to be in the area and saw a bunch of people "campaigning" (illegally I should add) outside and could tell it was a voting facility. I parked next to a truck and got out and noticed this guy standing there that looked familiar.

I said "Hey, is your name Kyle Greenwood by chance?". He said "Yes, how did you know? Was it by the huge sign with my face on it on the side of my truck?". We had a laugh and I felt like a complete idiot.

I told him he had some good canvas workers because his sign is in my front yard (still is actually) and thanked him for helping to kill the East Loop and went on my way.

Voted today at CSU before noon. Waited 10 min to get in. More folks than I figured would be voting on Sunday. Most looked conservative.

Careful with the "look". While waiting to get my ballot, I looked over this late 70's shoulder. He was voting Democrat.
