Howdy,
I am asking the below for someone I know. I don't want to give much detail.

Currently they are losing teeth due to the invansive medical treatments they have gone through over the past 9+ months. They have asked me if I know anyone who does dentures.

I know there may be other permanent solutions as well besides dentures, but wanted to reach out and see if you had any suggestions where for the individual to start?

See your dentist.
Somebody has to lose. Might as well be t.u.

Do they have insurance?

Is this cash where they can afford to pay all at once or do they need financing?

Dental insurance is finicky, if they have insurance, log into your dental plan and find the actual in-network provider. We're getting better but it's typically chains moving in. May have to go to Conroe, Woodlands, Tomball, Montgomery, etc.

I assume they have dental insurance but can verify. I can tell them to start with their dentist. I just didnt know if there was a specialist to go to.

Lots of specialists, lots of competition, lots of high prices. Probably all of them will give you a free evaluation. Generally includes a full panoramic x-ray / ct. The latest seems to be "All on X" which is a full arch on 4 to 6 implants. It would not hurt to go get a free eval or two so they can see what they think about any potential bone issues. You would be looking to Houston though (Houston being everything from Conroe to Katy to Waller to Galveston.....) I did see one group, Hanna, that had a lawsuit because of poor implant position.

IF they go that route...you will be with that "dentist" forever. The fixture screws into the implants and then they fill the hole with cavity material. You have to go back for cleanings and they will blast out the cavity material, unscrew the fixture, clean it then screw it back and refill the holes.
