I'm looking for a pest control service that can deal with crazy ants or identify what my current infestation might be.

We found them in our snack cabinet and I followed a trail of them along the wall and to the outside of the house where I lost their trail. I put out a Terro ant bait in the cabinet but they didn't seem to interested. I also sprayed Spectracide one-shot along their trail and along the outside of the house. I know this is a temporary solution and I need something more permanent.

Any suggestions?

Did a search for them and their Facebook page says permanently closed. And their web site takes me to a page not related to pest control.

Advion ant bait and stations and temprid ready spray.
What my pro friend said he would use when he was to busy to come over.
Really want a non repellent chemical to they don't just walk around the applicaion.
Unfortunately one purchase is about 5 lifetimes worth of supply but costs less than one call.
Sites like domyown.com have good identification and control information.

Most likely sugar ants. Move the house over 3 feet or spray the entire yard.

I would move the house if I could.

After doing a bit more research, I agree, probably sugar ants.

Sugar ants are so small (~1/16inch) that the can find any small crack in the bricks or siding to get in. You need to stop them at the source (if you can find it) or else carpet bomb the property. I have found that diluted vinegar works about the best to stop them, and is safe for pets and human (pets). Put it in an old spray bottle and go to town on the inside and then the outside of the house.

Horny toads eat ants. It would be great to see those things make a comeback.

I would love to have some in our yard! We used to have them in our yard when I was a kid growing up in central Texas in the 60s and 70s.

As far as I know, they are still open. Call 979-696-5818. Katie or Dennis will probably answer the phone. They are definitely good at what they do.

That's all we use for ants. We have had them twice and they go straight to it, take it back to the colony and then you don't see them anymore. One time it took two applications but still got rid of them. Just apply a little squirt in a couple/few spots and then go back a few hours later, or if you do it before bed, then check it in the morning and you will be amazed at how covered those spots are.

I've never seen them go around the bait spots when I have used it.

I highly recommend Advion gel bait.

For some reason the sugar ants love to get into my Keurig. I'm not sure when they started coming in, but I first noticed them a few months ago in the water reservoir.

Extra protein in my coffee, I guess.
