Think I have a squirrel or rat in my attic. Hearing scratching sounds during the day. Any suggestions on a rodent exclusion service? Don't want to get stuck on some long term plan. Just get rid of whatever is up there and close the place it's getting in. Thanks for any help.

What he said. I had poor experiences trying to take short cuts using handymen. I had ABC come out and they were thorough. Once it worked and I was comfortable I didn't need any further assistance, I stopped service.

Aside from trying to get me to sign up for some of their other services if they saw something on the property they could refer for (they do lawn, pool. etc) it was an easy process. I don't begrudge them trying to get more services, I assume it's part of the routine.

ABC quoted me $1700 a year ago.

Squirrel decided to chew its way through the drywall in the garage ceiling, then exited when the garage door was open. Handyman charged $150 to fix that hole and the hole it entered the attic through.

$1700 sounds about right. They didn't just block a hole for me. They did a thorough inspection. and sealed off all possible access points. You'd be surprised how many you might have!

It's both. They exterminate as in setting traps and bait boxes. Exclusion is critical as well.

Some workmen broke part of a seal around a crawl space entry begins my house. It took just weeks for a rat to get in through the tiniest of openings, die in the walls, and…it was gross.
