Interesting that it's a hundred miles east now of the consensus track just 24-36 hr ago. That's a big miss for that time period.

I noticed that daily water demand in College Station had a nice little decrease yesterday, for the first time in a while. If only that collective hope could've moved Eduardo juuust a bit further west.
I went on my usual morning walk this morning, and right on cue, the water pigs in my neighborhood had their sprinklers running full tilt. A lot of them were watering the concrete because they haven't bothered to have their sprinkler heads adjusted.
I tried doing my part by washing my car on Monday.

These bands of rain are so tantalizingly close but so frustratingly far away at the same time.
Eduardo almost brought our College Station yearly total to an area just north of Kountze in just 24 hours. That's 155 miles from here. 15-27".
Interesting feeder bands this pm. These tropical systems tend to tighten towards the low center at night and then expand out during the day. I'm not hopeful. In fact , I'm pessimistic- really just a realist.

I got about 3 minutes of rain in Castlegate. Hopefully, there may be a bit more to come. But I know the dome is strong.
At this point, I'll take anything and be grateful for it. Not home right now and it looks like I'm getting a pop shower. First in 45 days!

3/4 of an inch right around Harvey and HWY30 since last night. Had a couple of cells form right on top of our property. Slow drizzle going on now.

Max actually called this wraparound a few days ago. Seemed unlikely at the time but.....
