Any recommendations for a place to hold a staff party of about 20 or so people? We would want a room for ourselves. A place like Christopher's wouldn't be appropriate. Maybe a little lower on the cost scale. Mexican food would be good. We could do BBQ (and I could find a place for this easily). Beer/booze option +/-. Just didn't know if anyone had any recommendations.

I just did a tour out at Unreined last week and thought it would make a great location for us to do something similar. You'd have to have someone cater it or bring in the BBQ yourself.
Maria Mia's has that private room, no?
I would want the place to be able to provide food as well.

Coopers has a nice back room.

We have had events in the Maria Mia private room. Not bad, standard fajita catering style office meal.

Heres a thought...have it at Unreinded and have Costa and Andres cater the tacos!!
Shipwreck has a great party room and even better food.
Rudy's usually has plenty of open space in that back room of theirs. And you don't have to pay extra to use it or cover the cost of everyone's food.
Wings n more on deacon has that big room behind it.
The problem is that it is Rudy's
C&J has 3 private rooms at their Bryan location. Caffe Capri has one as well. I think Fritella will close of the space with the bar for you.
+1 for C&J's...just a great local family

If you are up for a little drive the Meadery in Navasota. If you want something a little fancier the Red Board Tavern in Navasota has the upstairs section you can reserve.

Blackwater Draw Brewing in Downtown Bryan has a room that can be private as well. BBQ catering an option.
Red5 Venue would be a great option - also the Barn at Grand Station.
