Too late in the season?

Both farm markets had some last week but the vendors said the season is ending soon.

There's routinely a guy in the parking lot of Pebble Creek Elementary on Sunday that sells tomatoes. Not sure it's weekly but it's frequent.

I would have had to agree but with this cold spell they may set again

any body have mashed potato squash ?

It is a winter squash. I just heard about it, sounds interesting. Did not know if anybody had any experience with it.

I looked it up. Does sound good but the problem with every vegetable they all come at once and not 2 a week or 10 days

But it is more of a spring get it planted by march and have squash by may 1 or so

I may grow some next year but just like pattypan just not alot of interest in squash like tomotoes

Well. I looked into it and I am trying to buy some seeds but the shipping is crazy If I get some planted I will let you know but mashed pototoe squash does sound different

Also here is the reason it is called winter because it stores for very long times and that is the difference between summer and winter squash You can still plant in march or july

Picked my last tomatoes this morning. Did get three good months of tomatoes.

I have a lot of blooms, but with the temps high in the 90s, probably won't set fruit.

Got the fall ones in the ground.

I have never done this until this year But I trimmed all the limbs off down to the first y and I am gonna see whatbhappens this year
