When you see the Greater Brazos Valley Builders Association (GBVBA) logo, it's easy to think we're just about job sites, blueprints, and new developments. But our impact on the community runs much deeper than just construction. Originally chartered in 1967 as the Bryan College Station Home Builders Association, we have spent nearly six decades representing local professionals and ensuring our region grows responsibly across Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, Walker, and Washington counties.
Today, we represent over 300 member companies dedicated to providing citizens with safe, high-quality, and cost-effective housing. We support the region by equipping local trades and businesses with the technical resources and continuing education needed to maintain the highest industry standards. At the same time, our dedicated Government Affairs Coordinator works closely with local, state, and national government entities to advocate for fair housing practices and protect our regional economy.
True support also means taking care of our neighbors. Through our Brazos Valley Builders Care initiative, our members have proudly donated over $90,000 to local non-profits and families in need since 2022. We believe that a thriving building industry leads to a stronger local economy, better neighborhoods, and a higher quality of life for everyone.
