Asking for my bees..

I checked my hives over the past few days and I'm not seeing any honey being stored in mass quantities like they're supposed to... and yaupon and mesquite is the #1 source of nectar around us, so its our main source of honey...

I've looked at a few yaupons and not seen any blooms and one or two green berries so im wondering if we missed the honey this year or if it's still coming.... They're SUPPOSED to bloom in April and may...

yes... I know someones gonna jump in and say they're having a great harvest.... good for you... just it's not happening around any of my bee yards... We've got 80 hives scattered around the bCS area...

I don't have either of those but maybe they are late blooming this year bc of that crazy ice storm freeze we had in January.

After this last rain, a lot of the flora is going to go nutz.
My sunflowers shot up a foot in a week after last week's rain. Yopon is coming around, Privet and mesquite are starting to bloom a bit late.

Well, I've seen a lot of horsemint this week, and that was usually noted as the last of the major wildflowers.. but I've not seen stuff blooming like it's supposed to..

Do they utilize privet? There is a lot in the county currently blooming.

Ive eradicated a lot of yaupon this year. Some of it was blooming.

Mesquite bloomed weeks ago, I have 4-6" beans on some trees already.

Yaupon is in full bloom at our place in Steephollow the last week or two.

Lots of normal wildflowers around.

NE Brazon county and I had Yaupon in bloom early. I haven't really paid attention lately. I know I have white clover blooming and my Vitex trees are covered in bees.

Privet, bluh. That stuff is heck on me. I can smell them driving by in my vehicle with windows up.
