I don't know if people from around here are more or less sensitive to that (I'm from the hill country) but there's days around here where it just feels like a storm wants to blow up and it's just whether or not that spark is going to start it up.

I'm glad to be wrong there. It was too cold. We need the long ball. They have elite pitching. I hope the wind cooperates.
edit: reading the wind will be blowing in so no long ball. our pitching has been suspect, though, so keeping it in the park is good too.

Just drove in from Houston. It was a massive massive storm I drove through. Here in South College Station I'm guessing we are at at least 3 inches already.

I don't know where all of the Bryan rain gauges are located, but I noticed that rainfall totals for the Bryan locations were much lower (nearly all less than one inch) than College Station (most 1.5 - 3+ inches). The gauge on FM 158 near Allen Academy recorded 0.77 inches. Gauge on Fitch at the fire station recorded 2.72 inches. 3 inches in my rain gauge a few miles away from that.

Hey waterchick, when did the watersmart emails change to coming from Halff.com?
I stopped getting them for a long while, and turns out that my spam filter was flagging "noreply@halff.com" as a spam source.
My dogs were not happy when the thunder was right over head. But, the rain was so hard, it sounded like hail, even though we didn't get any.

I live a mile or so from Allen and we got nearly 2" between 10pm and dawn. 1.89"
Oh no! Earlier this year I think is when the switchover happened. There wasn't supposed to be any hiccup. I didn't have any gaps in the emails that I receive. That is a great tip about checking spam filter!
