Dear CSISD Parents and Guardians,

We want to inform you that, out of an abundance of caution and at the advice of the College Station Police Department (CSPD), all CSISD campuses have been placed on a Secure status due to a reported threat in the community.

A Secure status means that all students and staff are safe inside the building, exterior doors are locked, and normal activities continue inside the school. No one enters or exits the building until the Secure status is lifted.

We are working closely with local law enforcement to monitor the situation. You may notice an increased law enforcement presence at our campuses as officers provide additional support and visibility during this time.

We understand that any mention of a threat can be concerning. Please know that students and staff are safe, and there is no need for parents to come to campus at this time. In situations like this, limiting traffic around our schools allows law enforcement to do their work efficiently and ensures we can maintain a secure environment inside the building. If coming to campus becomes necessary for any reason, we will communicate directly with you.

The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. We will provide additional information as soon as it becomes available and once law enforcement determines it is appropriate to lift the Secure status.
