Anyone know of a good spot to watch planes flying in and out of Easterwood?

For example, DFW airport has a designated observation deck that is great viewing. I know CLL doesn't have that exactly, but just curious if theres any spots around the airport that would be good?

Gate 12. If you're lucky you'll see Sharp pounding drinks during lunch with his entourage (yes I actually have seen this).

Are you talking about the Aggie Field of Honor cemetery ? Terrible idea, have respect for those of us that have family and friends laid to rest there.....

Not trying to be rude, but why would watching airplanes in a cemetery be disrespectful?

Pro tip: Download the ADSBExchange app so you can see what's coming and going. And FlightAware so you can see what is scheduled.

I love the Flightaware app. I live near Towerpoint and hear a lot of take-off traffic. I can open the app and see why just took off and flew over my house. The ADSBExchange app is better for military football flyover traffic, but a lot more ads.

Thanks for all the suggestions! We went and parked by Gate 12. Had a blast with the kids. I'm also big on FlightRadar24 so it's great to track the aircraft close by.

Something interesting: There was an exceptional amount of Navy and Air Force trainer planes/jets flying in and out. I had always seen them on flight radar, but hadn't seen them up close at CLL. Very cool. CLL must be an official waypoint for the pilot training.
