How does one find buyers around here? I have an over abundance of chicken eggs right now, and I typically have 2-4 dozen duck eggs per week that I cant eat because im allergic.

How much are you selling them for? I might be interested!

Feel free to PM if you'd rather discuss there.

Buying and ad would be a great way to reach potential buyers.

Mine are definitely cage free. We have them inside a 200' electric fence enclosure at night, but they are let out daily. They keep our ant population in check lol. I have 9 or 10 ducks and about 25 chickens right now. But chicken math is real, and im getting around 40-50 chicks in by the end of the month. I have found my price ia pretty in line with a lot of local sellers- im slightly more than some, but way less than others.

Definitely let me know when you start selling.

Given what I've seen people go through raising chickens…predators, diseases, etc., I long ago stopped complaining about what folks charge for eggs. I respect the hell out of people who do it.

It can be a mess. Our biggest issue has been Predators (and dealt with coccidosis last spring with chicks), but we have installed 200 feet of electrified chicken mesh, and it's kept them away so far (issue was foxes, coons, and the occasional coyote). We let them roam the full property during the day, and have them pretty cooped up in that and thwir runs at night

We have a small flock of hens and one handsome rooster. You probably won't ever hear someone who raise chickens brag about getting free eggs, because raising these little peckers ain't cheap. Granted, my wife spoils those ladies / rooster and I built a freaking Taj Mahal chicken coop a couple years ago, so I will never hit the break-even point of the cost/benefit curve. We get about 50% egg production every day which I think is about average for a healthy flock. We can't eat them all so we usually give most of the eggs away to folks who work for us.
