TAMU owns a stadium, not the city or tourism board. That subtle difference is very important.

Plus it's been covered here infinity times how difficult it is for concerts to come to Reed and Kyle and Rudder (outside of OPAS).

Somehow it never stopped G. Rollie from hosting even when it was an ancient dump.

We will host a smaller 7 on 7 tournament yes, but the largest one that we have hosted for years will be in Round Rock.

Most of the things you just mentioned were from A&M or Bryan.

There's definitely more we could be doing and including the right people in the conversation.

This post emphasizes a problem with CS leadership not wanting to work with Bryan and A&M. Those events that may happen on the A&M campus or in Bryan, bring people that eat and stay in CS. Y'all worry so much about an invisible line between the towns that it blinds you.

No- but common courtesy would be not to quote or repost extremely long lists . We can all go back to the op and read it.

I apologize to you for making you scroll through this thread. I will try to do better next time.

My comments were not directed to your OP, kind of weird that you keep taking it that way.

It's pretty easy to comment on a topic/post without quoting 681 lines of text. Allow me to demonstrate-

That makes the whole forum easier for all of us to read. Sorry you took offense to my comments, that wasn't my intention.

Sorry. since no one else reposted the lists, I assumed you were referring to me,

The CoCS and A&M Athletics have an exceptional relationship and are working together to bring more big events to town. Lest anyone forget, the Savannah Bananas event in May is a direct result of that collaboration. So is the USATF Grand Prix, a nationally televised track and field event in June at Cushing Stadium. Stay tuned for more.

I don't know...that sounds pretty status quo.

(Just messing with you, Valen. And great job A&M/CoCS for your work on events like these).

Hahaha I can take a joke I promise. No matter my role for the rest of my life I will always look to do better and raise the bar. Just how I was raised. In this case I want what is best for the tax payer and I believe there are more avenues to explore and expand on.
