Is there some horrible stomach bug going around, or did my husband and I both get food poisoning without eating the same thing (meals came from different restaurants)?

This is miserable, and no fun while pregnant...

My brother had one run through his house last week.

He said it was a 'fun time' for everyone. He told me to make sure I wash my hands extra well.

Its miserable. One of the kids apparently had an accident at school (didn't know she was sick- she was cleared to go back to school today from strep). The 2 boys haven't shown sympyoms... yet. Im dreading it.

two weeks ago I thought I had food poisoning. No one else in the house got sick. Had the runs bad, and wanted to throw up but couldn't. pretty bad fever and kidneys were lit up hot. I could do barely anything for a day. just laid on the couch and tried to sleep some. Motrin worked best to kick the headache and fever for me. Tylenol did zero. I drank my daughters electrolyte packs to stay hydrated. I use waterboy brand and it has been great for this and other things besides her track season. took 5 days or so for my guts to feel right a bit again.

I cant take motrin. Tylenol hasn't really helped my fever at all. Trying to figure out dinner now for my husband to pick up. Nothing sounds good at all. I have gotten half a Gatorlyte down today- so there's that

Several folks I know have norovirus. Not fun.

I would try some waterboy packets to see if you can handle that electrolyte. I would put half in a 16oz bottle of water or at least that much water in a glass.

Thanks. Today was much better. Ate half a bowl of soup, 2 bottles of water, and a gatorlyte. Ive lost 3 lbs since Sunday (not ideal for pregnancy, but also not horrible). Ive been staying fairly hydrated- or enough so that my OB hasn't told me to go get an IV yet. I will try those if things dont improve.

My wife had it bad last week, she couldn't even keep water down.
