I think you select what area you want, and then they assign seats.

We haven't gotten lucky enough to win in the lottery, but from what I've seen online they don't tell you the exact seat until a few days before the game. They really try to cut down on the scalping aspect.

And I too have entered the drawing!

Is this like the Masters? Nobody wins that lottery....

And baseball will be played at Olsen that weekend too (vs Auburn)

Submitted for the lottery, then realized I'll be a week or less postpartum. So looks like if we get tickets, histaghusband will be taking his mom and the kids

The A's and Raiders previously shared a stadium.

I saw a similar picture last night, but home plate was in the north east corner making a short right field instead of a short left… which would make more sense. It'll be interesting to see how it actually gets laid out.

I also got an email about 12 man donor presale tickets. I wonder how many tickets will actually be made available for that. The Bananas typically try to make all their tickets low price through the lottery, so I'm sure this was a special agreement with the university.

I've put in for tickets the last three years.

We have never gotten tickets.

There's lot of folks who scalp these because they are popular.

Saw this posted on Reddit. 12th Man Foundation Donors may be able to purchase tickets during the donor presale.

The way I read that is the pre-sale is only for club seats and boxes. I asse beyond that, it is the standard lottery

I'm loving these events at Kyle! It feels like a big city suddenly. I really enjoyed the soccer game between Mexico & Brazil, also the George Strait concert! I hope for more games and concerts too!! Both were amazing!!!

Any rumors on the price for those?

None.

I figure they'll be in the $100+ range per seat.

"Field Box" is the 1st deck of the West side of Kyle. So I imagine the first two decks of that side will be 12MF and the rest lottery.

This would make sense with the above rendering. People wouldn't want to pay $100 per seat for the outfield. It makes more sense that the first base line would be alone the field boxes.

We sat in the outfield at the Houston game and while we had fun, you miss ALOT of the action that is at home plate and the in field.

All tickets will be around $45 (in theory). SB does not upsell their tickets for better seats. We sat at the Round Rock one behind home plate and only paid around $30/ticket.

Definitely worth trying to go, but it will be overwhelming (TV does it know justice) with everything going on.

I am just hoping baseball has the early game that Saturday so I can try to attend both.

Unless picked up for TV, baseball will be at 2pm that Saturday

That is what I was thinking too, but Auburn can be a good series. I do not know why they could not move SB until later in the month when campus is dead.

"In theory" I agree, but I was talking about the 12th Man presale tickets. I'm sure those will be a higher price than the public seats. I personally hope not, but we'll have to wait and see when everything gets sent out.
