For the last 3 days we've had little to no cell service off Hwy 30 not far from Central Church. Anyone else having trouble?
I just switched to Consumer Cellular. They use both AT&T and TMobile towers. Now that I'm commuting back between Bryan and West Texas, I need the reliability of AT&T out there. The husband has kept his AT&T and there are places where I have 5G+ and he has LTE. I assume it's because my phone is on T-Mobile at that point.AggiePhil said:
We switched from AT&T to Verizon this year. It isn't really any better. In some ways, actually worse.

BUT I NEED TO SWITCH. I am going to be traveling a lot, specifically to Mexico and CC is EXPENSIVE there. So I was hoping to pop over to TMobile will work here and in West Texas. And now they are partnering with Starlink, which works FANTASTIC out there.

We switched to T Mobile a few months ago due to horrendous customer service from Verizon. It has been spectacular and much cheaper than what we were paying on Verizon. It also includes international service.
I just switched to TMobile. I went around town yesterday and had 5G Ultra just about everywhere. Was on the phone and never had a call drop. Now I am driving to West Texas this weekend and will be in parts of the state that have BAD AT&T service, so I'll be able to tell you how it does out there.BucketofBalls99 said:KidDoc said:

I would like to hear from more people who have TMobile. I have heard others switching to them. Those who had AT&T and switched to TMobile, what are your thoughts? Things that are better? Things that are worse? How much are you paying? How many people on your plan?
Also, how does it work when one company can use the same towers as another? Is it straight up the same results for both? Is somehow the 'second' or maybe 'smaller' company subject to less results/output? (Not sure of the correct verbiage here, lol)
