Has anyone dealt with them? Close to buying a car at an another dealership, but was going to talk to them before I do it. Any experiences positive or negative would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My wife and I tried to lease a car from Team/Elliott about 3 years ago.
We agreed on a price (no trade in, nothing down, turning in previous lease vehicle basic vanilla lease for us as we've done this many times before).
Then…surprise, surprise……there were a couple of additional charges after we agreed on the lease price.
They "forgot" to charge us for the window tint on the drivers and passenger side doors….not a big deal, came to about $150.00 and we wanted it anyway.

BUT then they wanted to charge us a $400.00 fee to move the car from a dealer in Dallas to Navasota uh, not so fast new car manger. To be fair I understood that
there was a cost to move the car (should have informed us up front a BIG mistake not communicating this to us). I offered to spilt the $400.00 with the dealer ship $200.00/$200.00 absolutely NOT said the new
car manger. I asked, "are you going to lose this sale over $200.00." He said "yes" and my wife and I walked out and have never been back.

I wish I would have filmed the new car manager, salesperson, and some other nonfunctional employees running around trying to figure out what had just happened it was hilarious watching these
guys point fingers and place blame. As we were walking to our car to depart the salesperson ran past us and stood in front of the drivers door and "wanted us to come
back inside to renegotiate the deal" nope, didn't happen.
We went to Tommie Vaughn Ford and leased a vehicle there.

It's been years (2018, I think), but I tried to buy an F250 there when Johnny Manziel's dad was the manager or something.

He was kind of a dick to me when I expected more than $500 off for a demo truck on their lot with over 5k miles on it.

The salesman I'd been working with before he (Manziel) got involved called me later than evening and said he'd be able to make the deal I'd asked for earlier. I felt kinda bad telling him I already had a new truck in the driveway that I wound up buying at CS Ford.

Stay away.. crooks

I took my truck there about 6 months ago for some work and they gave me a high price so I took it elsewhere. Told me when I dropped it off the diagnostics was $180.00 and when I went back to get the truck the guy tried to charge me over $400.

I think the big take away from all these car dealership threads is that you don't have to put up with bull***** Go out of town and shop around until you find someone who will shoot you straight.

I've bought my last two trucks sight unseen from Austin and Houston and had very smooth and easy transactions. One even delivered to my driveway for no additional charge.

Did Elliott Ford buy Team Auto of Navasota? Or is it the same group with a different name.

The only local place that I would purchase a vehicle from is Allen Honda.

They have a sister dealership in Palestine, I believe. I know they recently rebranded.

Allen Honda is generally the most poorly regarded dealership in the area as far as unwanted extra charges. I did read of one good experience there lately, but I know several people that have had bad experiences there and purchased the same vehicle in Houston for significantly less.

Most avoid Allen Honda because of their BS ad on stickers that increase the cost by thousands.

Went to Rusty Wallis in Garland for my Honda. Great experience and price.

I just really hate the dealership model. Tesla is doing it right. Just let me shop for the vehicle and show me the price. Let me buy it online and come pick it up. Just such an archaic method and buying experience.

Do not Goto Elliott Ford in Navasota .

No experience with the sales department but the service dept is so crooked I wouldn't step foot in there .

They quoted me over 7K for repair to my truck. Took it to another ford dealership and got it back and out the door at $1200.
My labor fee went from $5,800 to $650

That is amazingly dishonest.

Our worst quote from Allen Honda was for $1,600 to fix a small leak under her Odyssey. The only problem was they didn't take the time to trace the source of the leak; their incorrect diagnosis was to replace the wrong part. Then she would have still had a leak after wasting $1,600.

We didn't even bother to tell them their tech's are morons.
