I got a summons from this court, is there selection or am I serving based on receiving the summons? I've been summoned and selected on the county side but don't know if this is any different.

I was summoned last month. Called night before and told to report. Spent about 30 minutes there then told to leave. County and district courts you can select several dates from a website. City was more old fashioned.
