RR Pinoy is a little storefront run by very friendly people. They are tied to the old Nipa Hot that used to be in Northgate. Food is basic and solid.

Have not heard of the others.

Kuya Walds is good. Wife says too expensive. I don't think Trimo is in BCS.

I had lunch at Kuya Walds shortly after open.

It was insanely expensive. But I just checked the menu and I think they must have dropped prices.

I had some type of braised beef and it was over $20 for the lunch entree, but everything on their menu is a lot cheaper now.

does Kuya still have the fried smelts? Wanted to try when I went there but they were out..

I took my GP doctor there cause he was moving out of town and I owed him lunch.. it was over $100 for 2 people back when we went about 2 years ago or so...
