Probably from the overwhelmed facility that usually just stinks on Spring Loop.
Nah, this is way further south. Around HMP/Texas.
There's people complaining at Bryan high as well. It's apparently all over town.
Who do we complain to?
I'd start with the city. Either one. Maybe they can at least confirm the source

Bevo and company were in town but they left a couple nights ago. Smell should dissipate soon.

I went for a walk at lunchtime and thought I stepped in something. I kept checking my shoes. I'm glad it wasn't me!

First smelled it yesterday morning around noon. East side of two. On Boonville and Harvey. Smelled it again tonight, same general area.
Did not notice it in Copperfield earlier in the day or on the wallet side of town.
Edit to add, I think it smells more like wet dog.

I've seen this issue posted here, on Reddit, and on Rusty's FB. Anyone know what the problem was?
Smelled it for the first time this morning. Essence of burnt gunpowder.
I've noticed it as well in multiple places around town, both in Bryan and CS.

probably some farmer or rancher spreading manure on their fields. happens every year.
