Dr Mark Lindsay
Dr Lindsay is an ophthalmologist, more of a surgeon than a basic eye doc.
I recommend Precision Eye Care- that is who I personally use and send many patients and I've never had any complaints.

Crystal Vision on Rock Prairie. I've seen both Dr Mays and Dr White. Highly recommend either of them.
I also recommend Crystal Vision - been a patient for many years - with Dr Brice before her untimely death. Dr Mays is no nonsense, kind and thorough. I really like their selection of frames - go every year for an update on prescription. Recommend highly.
Big fan of Dr Scasta. She has been great with all of my stuff (eye injury from Clear Care that didn't neutralize, lattice degeneration, risk for glaucoma, astigmatism, and all around bad eye sight).
I don't have vision insurance, but didn't feel like the cost was outrageous. Definitely more than your standardwalk-in optometrist attached to a big box store, but reasonable for the level of care I received.
And she's great about immediate appointments for eye injuries if that's a concern lol.

I tried Dr. Lindsay (Mark) for a few years, but finally left him because he couldn't start the appointment on time and generally delayed the appointment up to 45 minutes every time. (around 4 visits over 3 years)
Very important to me that a physician is as respectful to my time as I am of his. For this reason, I haven't settled on a specific physician with my vision insurance changing... have been going out of town temporally, so will follow this thread.

My main experience with Scasta are morning apts, but have never had issues with apt being delayed

I wouldn't recommend anybody that sells their own glasses or contacts. All they do is try to upsell the hell out of you. One of them called my daughter, a minor, and ordered contacts over the phone. I don't know how they got her phone number. They didn't either.

You can always go to BSW Urgent Care or St Joseph Express Care for an eye injury on the weekend or after hours. They can assess it, and if necessary, both have opthamologists in their systems at the hospitals.

They had an eye doctor outside of the main store. The entrance is off to the side. Last time i went there, it had a sign on the door claiming it was closed for remodeling.
