I've got 3 weddings coming up & I need to up my game for clothes. I'd prefer to go Wranglers & a sport coat, but that's not going to work for these. I've got business suits & sport coats, but 2 of these are black tie deals (so stupid). I haven't worn any of my suits for at least 10 years & I've lost some weight in that time, so they won't work unless they are significantly tailored.

One of the weddings is my neice & the next weekend is my nephew and the other are work friends who asked everyone to "dress to impress". Is there such a place in BCS? I really don't want to take a day to drive to Houston or Austin to get higher end crap I'll probably wear once.

That place next to Capriotti's where Fox and Hound used to be. My son was looking for a suit there and considered a $900 suit before deciding to go less pricey for the time being, but it was a really nice one.

I have purchased a few nice shirts for my son there. The owner is a nice guy and has really nice clothes. Not a lot of selection options in each size, but very nice....and sort of pricey but you get the quality that you pay for.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money, Houston Premier outlet also has tuxedo jackets and pants starting at around $200-$300 (for both) at Saks and Hugo Boss outlets. I went to Bea's to hem the pants.

Me too, but Joshua (JWR Clothing) worked there and started his own store. Similar inventory, same great service, and you get to play with Lucy (his lab who hangs out in there). I've bought tuxes, suits, jackets, shirts, shoes, belts, ties, etc there and highly recommend for upper end, high quality tailored look.

I also shop at Dillards and pick up some things there. It's actually a pretty good men's Dillards. Never that crowded and always have sales (I'm on a fixed income now).

Wish we had more options, but those are the two best ones I know if in town.

I'll echo this. Josh worked for Michael at Harley's and is doing his best to recreate both the selection and atmosphere of it at JWR's.

I've bought jeans, sportscoats, custom shirts, and slacks from JWR's and highly recommend.

JWR is pretty good, they don't carry a lot of sizes and he always seems to be out of mine… if you are in a bind Dilliards isn't awful.. I buy very lil clothes here.. easier to order or run to Houston or Austin!!
