Anyone, in east Brazos Co (Steep Hollow area) running Starlink internet, or have any internet provider suggestions? Watching the game today, along with any streaming services is like watching an Atari video game from the 80s. Our current provider convinced us that we needed a $300 router to optimize service. Hasn't really worked out.

I'm near Kurten. Been using Starlink for a year. Couldn't be more happy with it.

Down elmo weedon. Had it for 8 or 9 months. Really heavy rain is the only time I have had problems

SW Brazos Co. Have 2, home and Airbnb. 2 kids, wife, friends, multiple TV's and devices and I work from home with decent size audio files.

No real issues. Love it.

If you happen to be along the pink lines on this map, you have fiber available which is faster and/or cheaper than Starlink.

Of course, I would prefer your business but if you are away from the fiber, then Starlink is a viable option.

What's the blue line?

Because I live right off a blue line. If that means I am just off access, maybe we can discuss the cost?

Any plans to jump across the road to Nantucket? Please?

Crazy that there is no fiber in Indian Lakes. Is it because of lot size?

Blue line is leased fiber and we can't generally tap into it except where they have splice points. Sorry.

We have the area designed but we are still focusing on areas that have no high speed services.
As much as you may hate Suddenlink, there are people that would kill for them. We are busy serving those folks.

Perhaps we will have time/money/resources to tackle in-town areas soon but we are currently tied up.

Lot size does matter. It drives deployment costs through the roof. Combine that with a viable competitor (as much as they are disliked) and the take rates will be less than desirable.

At the end of the day, the $700,000-$800,000 it takes to construct fiber there has to make money. And the market is a race to the bottom so that math gets tough for companies that are not spending investor capital.

Works well for us in SE Brazos Co. Friends in NE Brazos County have also had a good experience with it.

Starlink has been a life changer for our business on Peach Creek Road. Couldn't be more satisfied.
