I'm on the committee that's organizing a holiday market at A&M UMC on Nov 2. All proceeds from sponsorships, shopper entry fee, silent auction, and vendor space fees go toward Habitat for Humanity. So although it's an event taking place at a church, the only beneficiary will be H for H.

I'll be putting out signs and making an appearance on KBTX ahead of the event and I've placed the event on several online community calendars.

All that being said, what are some good places in B/CS to hang fliers to advertise this sort of thing? I know Harvest downtown has a bulletin board...anyone else know of any?

(I plan to dedicate a half day to making the rounds with fliers and I'd like to have a good game plan going out. Plus, this might be a good thread to consolidate this info for anyone else who is looking to do the same for their event or business in the future.)

Thanks!

Submit it to WTAW's Community Calendar at news@wtaw.com. They'll possibly mention it on air as the event draws near.
