Howdy!

Tonite at 6pm at College Station City Hall is the final opportunity to be heard before we vote on the tax rate and budget.

KBTX's Anna Maynard put an informative segment together which can be seen below:

Keep raising taxes. Watch more local businesses fail as they can't afford NNN.

They dont care. never have, never will … just pretend and say cute and kind things; then increase the cost of living in BCS. It will NEVER change.

From the KBTX story -

The city's budget also passed with a unanimous vote. Minor changes to the budget were discussed, such as an additional $375,230 for Parks and Recreation to plant trees, as well as extra funding for the Brazos Transit District, down payment assistance, and payment related to the Biocorridor.

"I'd rather have 500 trees than one more 'welcome to College Station' sign made out of concrete, because those signs don't do anything to mitigate the urban heat island effect," shared Councilwoman Elizabeth Cunha.

Sure, lets plant more trees that die.

Prop up the failed biocorridor

Prop up the BTD

Again, its not the *rate* that taxes have increased, its the *amount*
