Is there a place in town where one can find a good $15 haircut? I know I'm cheap, but given the amount of hair I have left, I think it is only fair. (no barber schools please)

Whitney at haircuts at Whitney charges 18 (I think it's 18)! She's awesome, and she's got a lot of other stylists there too. Give a call before you go if you want to make sure she's there and you can check their prices too.
Charles and Sue's School of Hair Design. It will be a student but the instructor will make sure you don't get scalped.
I know this isn't close to B/CS, but the Bedias barber shop is really affordable. I pay $18 for a haircut and beard trim. That includes the 20% tip
If you're over 55, it's $17 at Great Clips. If you're cheap and don't tip, it's still $17.

I thought as much. My old barber has cancer and will not return to work soon (if ever). I really have a half a head of hair so not much to cut, but still needs a trim every now and again. I have looked around and 20+ seems to be the going rate. Thanks to everyone.Goose83 said:

I was just about to say that. If there's little hair left, just embrace it and shave it all off. Way cheaper and more important lots of time saved with zero trips to the barber anymore

Just get a $7.99 coupon for great clips put the balance towards the tip, or round up to $20. It's just a hair cut. At a certain age you don't really care what other people think about your haircut, you just want it cut and want to give a good tip.
I tried one of these hair schools and spent over an hour in the chair, instructor ended up finishing it. I'll never do that again. It looked ok, but such a waste of time.
