I live off of 1179, about a mile east of Frank's and the water tower.

This morning was the third outage we've had in the last month. Nothing from BTU as to cause, just text messages saying power is out, crews working, and then power back on.

I checked X and FB, nothing.

I work nights, so I wouldn't even notice, except that it resets the thermostat to the default setting - 85.

But why so many outages, on clear days?

We live in the same area & have the same question. Is it related to the right of way work going on in preparation for the widening of 1179?

I'd check this site, not FB or X.

Drive down FM1179 a little further towards Wixon Creek and Morgan Road.

You'll see crews stringing new power lines on the existing distribution lines' poles.
They must need short outages when working immediately adjacent to the existing conductors.

If there's a way to make that show the cause(s) of previous outages, I can't find it.
