Something happened to my laser printer connection to my computer. Cannot figure it out. Tried to call Geek Squad to come out...you CANNOT get someone local! Any recs?

I might be able to help you for free.....and may get what you pay for. However both my printers work at my house and I may be able to re-load your drivers. Email in profile.michellecan said:

Is it a wireless printer?
Have you tried just connecting with a USB cord?
Have you deleted the printer and reloaded the driver?
Have you tried rebooting both your computer and printer?
I've done ALL of the above. Hubs FINALLY got to Geek Squad…thru the international call center.
If using windows, there is a search box at bottom of your screen.
Type RESTORE
In many cases, a calendar will pop up, and you can go back to the last known date when your pc worked.
Not all days are present, but perhaps there was a date where the machine created a restore point.

Do you have a VPN on your internet? It may not be allowing the connection between the two.
Same thing happened to mine. I connected the cord to my computer and it reconfigured itself.

If it is windows type "printer" in the search box. Click on the printer icon. Point to the manage button. On the left hand side you will see "run the troubleshoot". Let the app diagnose the problem.

Uninstall printer by going to control panel
Physically unplug the cable from your PC
Reboot
Plug printer cable back into PC
Does PC see a new printer? Any pop up messages?
