You left off huge rent increases. I have talked to probably a dozen business owners whose landlord has raised their rents 50% or more. I understand that landlord's costs have also gone up also, but a vacant storefront also doesn't pull in much rental income.Hornbeck said:

There is a long history of once famous chains that have vanished simply because time and taste have passed them by. Hard for some people to accept that a place has simply lost the appeal it once had.
